Melanoma Cancer
Is there a cure?
Moffitt Cancer Center appears to believe there is a promising new drug called PV-10 that not only reduces and or cures melanoma cancer but also creates an immune response where once a tumor is injected with this drug, not only does the tumor shrink or completely disappear; but the bodies immune system kicks in and wipes out other tumors as well.
The company striving to bring this new drug to the market also believes and they are: Provectus Biopharmaceutical.
Provectus is a small company that from all the medical reports and research I have been digging through appears to be, in the very near future, on the forefront of creating a paradigm shift in the treatment of cancer.
This cure for cancer involves being injected with a drug instead of having the cancer cut out or radiated.
PV-10 completed a Phase 1 study and then began a Phase 2 study in Nov 2007, they completed the Phase 2 study in May of 2010 and presently are preparing to release FDA related information regarding which path this new drug will follow in bringing it to the market. This news regarding which path this new drug will follow is suppose to be made public January 15, 2014.
The drug has for some time been available through a program known as the Compassionate use programs which provide experimental therapeutics to patients prior to final FDA approval.
Here is a part of a message from the CEO of the company to investors in their company: "PV-10, our novel oncology drug that selectively targets and destroys cancer cells without harming surrounding healthy tissue, continues to demonstrate its local and systemic benefits, excellent safety profile, and potential applicability in multiple cancer indications."
I also found a video on youtube of a man in the USA that was cured as well, but lost the web address for it.
